I have a Blackberry 7290 and want to sell on eBay, but the number of my phone is configured for the phone. I wondered what should be done in black, and a normal mobile phone without the number.

The phone number is on the SIM chip. You should be able to remove the SIM card and a kind of master reset on the BlackBerry. However, if the next owner's SIM chip is placed on a separate number to show.
There should be options when you go figures ... You can not delete!
